Ingredients:
- Quinoa - 1 cup (Red)
- Dal (Door or Channa or Moong) - 1/2 cup (Red)
- Carrot -1
- Potato - 1
- Onion - 1
- Green peas - 1/4 cup
- Ginger Garlic paste - 1 Table spoon
- Green Chili - 5
- Turmeric - 1/4 TSP
- Cumin Powder - 1/4 TSP
- Garam Masala - 1 TSP
- Chili Powder - One pinch
- Pepper Powder - One pinch
- Asafoetida /Perungayam - one pinch
- Oil 2 TSP
- Water - 2 1/4 cup (Red)
- Lemon Juice - 1/4 lemon
Hint: 1.5 cup water for 1 cup Quinoa and Dal.
Preparation:
- Soak Quinoa and Dal for minimum 30 minutes
- Keep the cooker and add oil
- Put spices like non veg preparation
- Mustard, Cumin and moon dal
- Add Green Chili
- Add all the vegetables and fry for 10 mins
- Add Ginger Garlic paste
- Add Turmeric, Chili powder, Cumin powder, Pepper Powder
- Add soaked Quinoa and Dal and fry for 5 mins
- Add salt
- Add water
- Add Lemon Juice
- Pressure cook for 3 whistles
- Cool, serve, and enjoy!
