Sweet Pongal

 

Ingredients:

  • Raw Rice - 1cup
  • Moong Dal - 1/2 cup
  • Water - 6 cups
  • Jaggery - 3 cups (more based on your sweet requirement)
  • Sukku powder - 1 spoon
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Cashew
  • Dry grapes
  • Ghee
Pressure cook:
  • Raw Rice
  • Moon Dal
  • Water
  • Pressure cook for 5 whistle


    Next Step:
    • Heat milk in a vessel
    • Transfer cooker content to vessel
    • Add water as per the required consistency
    • Add Sukku powder
    • Add Jaggery 
    • Add grated coconut
    Garnish:
    • Fry Cashew and Dry grapes in ghee and add it to pongal
