Homemade Chipotle Bowl

 INGREDIENTS:

  • Serving - 3
  • Pinto beans - 3/4 cup (red)
  • Chili powder - 3/4 spoon
  • Tomato (grind) - 1
  • Tomato (side) - 1 1/2
  • Cumin - 1 pinch
  • Mustard seeds - 1 pinch
  • Oil - 1 spoon
  • Tamarind - 1 spoon
  • Rice - 1/2 cup
  • Capsicum - 1
  • Onion - 1
  • Ranch or curd - 1 spoon
  • Cheese - a sprinkle

SAUCE PREP:
  1. Grind 1 tomato
  2. Put 1 spoon of oil, 3/4 spoon of chili powder, pinch of cumin, and a pinch of mustard seeds in a frying pan
  3. Pour the tomato sauce in the frying pan
  4. Add 1 spoon of tamarind into the frying pan
  5. Add salt as required
  6. Boil and keep aside


STEPS FOR SUCCESS:
  1. Cook pinto beans with salt as required
  2. Leave a hint of water and filter the beans
  3. Cook rice and filter
  4. Cut capsicum and onion
  5. Fry capsicum and onion on a high flame with lid until golden brown
  6. Add a pinch of salt and cumin with the capsicum and onion
  7. Cut 1 tomato into small pieces
  8. Take a bowl
    1. Add rice
    2. Add beans
    3. Add onion and capsicum
    4. Add tomato
    5. Add tomato sauce
    6. Add ranch or curd
    7. Finish it off with a sprinkle of cheese
  9. Put a spoon in the bowl and dig in. Bon appetite!!
